The MRC Executive Leadership Program
The MRC Executive Leadership Program is designed to fill an industry-wide gap in developing leadership beyond technical expertise to provide insights professionals that can drive organizational change – leaders who can truly put the customer at the heart of organizations. As an individual members organization, founded in 1927, we are passionate about creating insight leaders for the future.
The MRC will provide funding for the program to facilitate a diverse range of candidates to participate. The investment required by each participant is mainly in time. There will be two weekends in New York (near NYC), virtual mentoring sessions and participation in the MRC programming (virtual and face to face – not obligatory) taking place over one year. Participants will need to cover their overnight stay and any travel arrangements.
Help us to find up and coming leaders
We are looking for people:
Ideally between 8 and 15 years in an insights related role on either client side or agency side.
• The criteria on “insights related role” is fluid – we are looking for people who have experience with research and insights and a passion for data and the industry
• Currently in a leadership role, managing at least 1 person
• Highly ambitious to further their career in leadership; aspiring to C-Suite in the future
• Demonstrates commitment to career with evidence of results and achievements
• Evidence of commitment to broadening horizons, such as an interest in charitable, social, cultural, creative, travel, etc.
• High emotional intelligence and natural drive to succeed
Those who are selected will receive access to the MRC Executive Leadership Program lasting one year, followed by the opportunity to be nominated for the MRC Emerging Leaders the next year.
The selection process
We will be selecting a cohort of 10 diverse individuals. Once you have nominated someone (or they have nominated themselves), we will invite the candidate to provide more detail about themselves and why they feel they would benefit from the MRC Executive Leadership Program. The selection will be made by the MRC Executive Leadership Program Committee.
Thank you for helping us to develop future insight leaders.
