President’s Letter March 2026

Congratulations to our 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees!

Together with the MRC’s executive board and our Hall of Fame Committee, chaired by Kai Fuentes and Sue Hogan, it is my distinct honor to announce our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees, as voted on by our members.

We will induct Lisa Courtade, Associate Vice President, Global Business Insights & Analytics, Organon, into the Hall of Fame in the Active Practitioner Category. Lisa has held prominent global leadership roles at major pharmaceutical companies, is a dedicated board member and recognized leader within the insights profession, and actively advances market research and global women’s leadership.

We will also induct John Gilfeather, President of John Gilfeather & Associates, into the Hall of Fame in the Lifetime Achievement category. With over four decades of executive leadership at prominent firms like Yankelovich, Roper, and TNS, John is a recognized pioneer in shaping social trends research and consumer insights.

In addition to Lisa and John, we will honor a Research Ambassador and Research Innovator, to be announced soon.

Save the date now for our 2026 Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon on Friday, July 31, at Arno Ristorante in Manhattan. Early Bird Pricing tickets are now on sale through May 31 for individuals and tables (seats 10). Reserve your seat today at Eventbrite before prices increase on June 1.

If you are interested in sponsoring the HOF luncheon, please contact Rosemarie Sharpe (info@mrcouncil.org) or Bill Daddi (bill@daddibrand.com) for more information.

Thank you for your continued support of the MRC.

Upcoming Events

Join us on March 12 at 12:30 PM ET for a virtual discussion on the practical application and governance of AI in market research. This panel moves beyond policy frameworks to practical execution. Rather than presenting AI governance as a compliance burden, we position it as what it really is: structured decision-making that researchers already do, applied consistently to AI tools. Using synthetic data as the central example, the panel walks through real governance choices MR professionals face every day and shows that having a plan protects your methodology, your clients, and your industry’s credibility.
