Messaging the 2024 Election: What Worked and Why?

Overview

The conventional wisdom around the 2024 presidential election has been that the race was so close that it would always come down to turnout. Join the MRC and Johns Hopkins SAIS for a roundtable discussion with pollsters and campaign insiders to understand messaging in the election, specifically what messages were most and least effective in motivating voters to the polls.

MRC member Cliff Young (President, Ipsos Polling) will serve as moderator and will be joined by the following panelists:

  • Dr. Natalie Jackson: Vice President of GQR
  • Maeve Ward, Executive Price President of Grow Progress
  • David Kavensky, President of 3D Strategic Research
  • Amelia Thomson-DeVeaux, Editor, Polling at Associated Press
