President’s Letter August 2025

The 2025 Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon was held on July 25 with a sold-out crowd at Arno Ristorante in Manhattan. More than 150 members and friends of MRC came to celebrate our four honorees: Josh Chasin, Hall of Fame–Active Practitioner; Simon Chadwick, Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement; Pepper Miller, Research Ambassador; and Carol Haney, Research Innovator. 

These honorees gave inspirational speeches that went far beyond their illustrious careers – we learned about courage, challenging the status quo, the joys and perils of parenthood, smashing against the glass ceiling, the satisfaction in mentorship, and more!

On behalf of the executive board, I thank our honorees, sponsors, volunteers, especially Susan Hogan, who chaired the Hall of Fame committee, and Rosemarie Sharpe, our Administrative Director, for giving us this wonderful event to gather as industry leaders and celebrate what is right in the world.
